The Artificial Intelligence Research Hub, associated with the Faculty of Social and Legal Sciences, is an interdisciplinary assembly devoted to exploring the ramifications of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on societal and economic dynamics.
This research hub's thematic exploration is tied to the repercussions of AI on the socio-economic framework, particularly within the business ecosystem, concentrating on the study of both beneficial and adverse externalities. Through an integrated analysis of AI's impact in relation to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the hub adopts a multidisciplinary lens, assessing the interplay between diverse SDGs, AI regulation, and additional determinants relevant to public policy formulation.
The Artificial Intelligence Research Hub engages a broad spectrum of stakeholders—ranging from policymakers to civil society—ensuring active participation in its research endeavors. The group is set to execute theoretical and empirical investigations, providing public policy guidance and regulatory suggestions aimed at enhancing the positive externalities of AI while curbing its detrimental effects.
